Being a tennis player, Joann understands the demands tennis places on the body and the aches and pains that result from playing the game both recreationally and competitvely. Joann enjoys working with people to help them understand how they can use preventative measures to stay healthy, how they can help themselves heal faster from injuries and stress, and how they can keep their body in balance.
Since most people don't live their lives only on the courts, Joann also works with the daily stresses that can cause muscular imbalance. Be it a need for addressing some chronic knots, helping restore a new muscular imbalance or just a need to relax, she can "do her magic".

Joann is a 1997 graduate of The Institute of Natural Therapies in Houghton, MI. She obtained her certification as Medical Massage Practitioner in 2003 and her certification in Pre-natal Massage in 2008. She has worked in Chiropractic, in Outpatient Physical Therapy, at Spas & Resorts and as Owner of her own massage business. She has also taught massage to both novices and to licensed and certified Massage Therapists in MI, FL, IL, AL and SC. She has worked to combine her loves - Massage, Tennis, Teaching and Whole Body Health into a business where she can both help others and educate them about helping themselves.
